BRYCE CANYON National Park - Utah

Day 28

We postpone the morning departure by a few hours.

Vincent suffers from a migraine and the contraindication of Ibuprofen because of Coronavirus does not allow an effective treatment. Since our day in ZION, he also suffers a lot from his ankle. It is thus not the form!

10 h Everybody is ready for BRYCE CANYON (74Mi.) we leave the RV in KANAB in the RV Park almost empty because of Corona and take the road with our dinghy for new adventures.

Again, we admire the road each time different but the landscapes which offer themselves to us are all splendid.

The more we progress, the more the temperature goes down and the sky is filled with clouds to look like a snowy sky.

We quickly arrive at 32°F or 0°C.

We are alone, the atmosphere looks like the end of the world (always the same impression). We don't meet a soul until we reach the entrance of the National Park.

We presented the usual documents, our America Beautiful Annual Pass and our identity papers. For the first time since the beginning of our journey, these documents are hardly checked, the Ranger at the entrance does not wish to be in contact with us, offering us a map of the place to guide us. We accept with gratitude and take the road which crosses the Park marked out by points of view all as beautiful the ones as the others.

As the day goes by, the tourists become more numerous but each one avoids contacts with the others. BRYCE CANYON under the snow, a breathtaking spectacle mixing orange with grey and green whites.

We return by PINK SAND DUNES where we admire the ochre dunes as far as the eye can see.

Back to the RV Park in KANAB

Quick evening in the warm.
